ABOUT SHANTEL DE MATOS
Shantel was born and raised in the suburbs of Johannesburg, South Africa where she discovered her love of all things literary. The idea for her first novel came to her at a young age and it became a lifetime goal to have it published.
Shantel has since spent her years traveling the world, perfecting her writing, and now brings you her first novel, After the Ashes.
Shantel has now moved to Vietnam where she is working on turning After the Ashes into a screenplay.
